WF-RepTool reporting lists now in Italian!

Following the path of the classic version of the tool, the new version of the WF-RepTool offers from today the possibility of using reporting lists translated into Italian.

The aim of the WEEE Forum and supporting members is to make available the WF-RepTool to all potential users around the world. This is why the new version of the tool allows users to adapt the recycling rate calculation to local legislation, regardless of the country where they operate. To further approach the tool to all users with waste reporting needs, we have translated the WEEE lists used for building the WEEE reports into Italian.

How users can use the lists in other languages?

Registered users holding a WF-RepTool license, can indicate at the moment of registration or anytime from the user profile area (top right corner of screen) the language in which they would like to see the reporting lists. It should be noted that only reporting lists are translated, and that the whole interface of the tool remains in English. When choosing a different language for the RepLists, English lists will always be available.

At the area that appears at the top right corner marked as Translations, premium users can consult the content of translated lists.

To see a report in the language of your preference, simply select the language at the top tool bar of the 'Graph' and 'Overview' areas anytime (see training video).

To switch the language of the Replists in a report, select the language in the user profile area (i.e. so that the lists used in a report are consistent with the user profile). It should be noted that to build a report in a language other than English, the translated lists must be available at the moment of starting the report.

What about other languages?

Users are invited to contribute to translations by leading the translation of all lists into a new language, revising existing translations etc. Translating lists properly is a very time consuming exercise, to speed up the process we use AI translation support.

Contact the WF administrator (info@weee-forum.org) if you would like to contribute with the translation of lists.

Stay tuned for more updates and innovations from the WEEE Forum!
